For the year 2021, Cuba Archive has the following data to date of victims attributed to the Cuban State: 5 extrajudicial killings, 3 deaths in custody (1 in hunger strike), 2 serving the obligatory military service, 2 suicides/alleged suicides not in custody, 2 activists denied medical care, 7 “internationalists,” and 62 asylum seekers, of whom 38 names are unknown.
